CDLP HOME WITHSÉBASTIEN TELLIER

SÉBASTIAN TELLIER and CDLP are an apropos marriage. While both hold an individualistic style, "Home" coincidentally follows Mr. Tellier’s 2020 "Domesticated"-record—the title of which was suggested by friend and director Sofia Coppola to describe his new status as a father assigned to domestic tasks instead of owning stages around the globe. Shot in a characteristic Parisian "maison" by photographer Jonas Unger, the campaign puts the capsule to test as it captures Mr. Tellier making breakfast, playing the piano, barbecuing and taking his car for errands.

Traditionally a sanctuary for recharge, the home has gained status over the past years, and for many has become the central location for work today. Blurring a line between loungewear and ready-to-wear and closing a gap between indoor and outdoor dressing, Home is luxurious comfort met with directional design. Consciously crafted in Portugal, the capsule includes a Short Suit and Long Suit in Burgundy, Black and Navy Blue, and a Robe in Burgundy and Black, all developed in the brand’s signature lyocell—a modern, ultra breathable cellulose fiber that is supremely soft and moisture-wicking. Sourced from sustainably grown wood which is refined in a closed-loop system where 99% of the nontoxic solvent used is recycled, lyocell requires less water and land to produce than cotton.

“WE ARE LONG TIME FANS OF SÉBASTIEN TELLIER’S MUSIC, CREATIVITY, AND ICONIC DRESSING. HE TRULY EMBODIES THE CDLP WORLD OF STYLE, CHARACTER, AND JOIE DE VIVRE. JONAS (UNGER) HAS AN INNATE ABILITY TO CAPTURE CHARACTERISTIC FIGURES THROUGH HIS LENS. HERE, HE MANAGED TO DOCUMENT THE COLLECTION IN THE PERFECT CONTEXT WHILE PROFILING MR. TELLIER IN A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. ALL WHILE MAKING EVERYDAY MUNDANE CHORES ALL A BIT MORE EXCITING WHILE WEARING HOME.”—CHRISTIAN LARSON, CREATIVE DIRECTOR.
