Omnichannel Planner & Merchandiser


CDLP is looking for a strong Omnichannel Planner & Merchandiser to join our fast growing, and highly dynamic team at our HQ in Stockholm!

This is a cross functional role responsible for designing and implementing an assortment planning and inventory investment strategy for our seasonal and core ranges to maximise sales, margin, and stock management in line with financial goals of the CFO.

The ideal candidate will be business minded, very analytical with great care for detail and have an understanding of fashion industry dynamics, product and assortment planning. You will make sure that we have offer the right product at the right time in our E-commerce, Wholesale and Retail channels and optimise inventory levels by analysing historical sales, market data and future trajectory of the business and it’s various categories. The role requires a combination of strong analytical skills and an understanding of our customer, the ability to build close partnerships with other functions, and a focus on executing best in class customer experience while delivering/exceeding financial targets.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following areas:

– Create and optimise product assortments that maximise revenue and profit for both DTC and Wholesale Channels by analysing historical sales, market data and future trajectory of the business.
– Responsible for seasonal category line plans that effectively and accurately guide design, product development and production along with supporting divisional objectives.
– Regularly monitor product performance by style, colour, size contributing to future design development, as well as stock evolution, sales forecast and replenishment.
– Lead the creation of Reporting Packs Including: weekly sales overview, best sellers, sell-through, returns analysis, recommendations for exiting slower moving stock, achieved sales margin per channel.
– Work closely with the Production & Buying Manager to proactively preempt stock shortages, forecast global & territory demand, and maintain lean stock efficiencies.
– Work cross-functionally with Design, Finance, Marketing, Wholesale, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service and E-Commerce, in order to gain alignment behind strategic needs and priorities

We expect the ideal candidate to have the following qualifications:

– 3+ years of experience in planning/merchandising/controlling within the fashion industry.
– Superior analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
– Detail orientated, results driven individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
– Budget and forecast planning experience combined with the understanding of the end-to-end inventory planning process dynamics.
– Knowledge of financial measures and how in-season strategies impact them. Understand the broader marketplace and competition. Aware of changing trends and customer behaviors that impact the way we do business.
– Presentation Skills & Comfort Around Higher Management: Strong story-telling ability to synthesize large amounts of data into conclusions and recommendations in oral and written formats.
– Peer Relationships: Collaborates with peers and cross functional partners to share best practices and develop strategic knowledge.
– Dealing with Ambiguity: Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
– Problem Solving: Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions.
– Systems and Tools Acumen: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, aptitude to learn technical applications quickly.
– Organisational Agility: Ability to work independently and with teams interchangeably to deliver results.

This a full-time position, with immediate start, based at the CDLP head office in Stockholm.
