Gustaf Nordenskiöld is an artist, designer and curator. His ceramic work revolves around memories of objects and time, existing in the space between recognition, ambiguity, figuration, and abstraction. The production process is often visible in his finished work, leaving traces in the object, as a memory of its making. Gustaf works from his studio located in a former industrial area in Örnsberg, Stockholm, often in the company of his dog Effe.

For Spring 2021, CDLP Mobilité expands with a first drop of active essentials. Building on the base layer of the performance underwear, the collection is built for transitioning in and out of physical performance. The design references nostalgia, looking to classic athletic wear with a focus on traditional silhouettes and details. Sportswear essentials with relaxed, boxy fits in robust, heavyweight yet breathable, recycled and organic cotton blend fabrics. Think casual, relaxed layering, optimal for pre- and post- workout.

Swim 2021 - CDLP

Summer 2021 introduces two new swimwear styles—the Swim Trunk and the Deck Shorts—joining the Swim Shorts and Swim Briefs. All crafted in Econyl—a progressive Italian-sourced nylon fibre regenerated from ocean and landfill waste. Shot against a green screen takes the collection on a dream-like, escapist journey to sun-drenched beaches and glittering seas.

Australian born photographer Akila Berjaoui is the fourth collaborator in CDLP LENSED BY—an ongoing photography series featuring guest artists.Berjaoui traveled to Hydra Island, Greece to document the story that features CDLP swimwear over the course of one week. Alternating shots between a Minolta and Contax G2, male sensuality is delicately captured against a hazy backdrop of sun-drenched cliffs, clear blue skies, and the inky Myrtoan Sea.

Following a 2018 partnership, CDLP revisits the body of work of the artist to conceive into reality a Tank Top and a relaunch of the Jock Strap.

For its 2020 resort swimwear collection, CDLP collaborates with Cuixmala, the one-of-its-kind luxury ecological destination set on the Mexican Pacific coast. Celebrating a shared, deep-rooted affinity for responsible practices, the swimwear is crafted from Econyl—an innovative regenerated fibre made from ocean waste. The limited edition collection design is inspired by the vibrant colors and architecture of the property, and includes a Swim Brief, Swim Short, and a Throw, across a palette of Fuchsia/Flame, Maya Blue, and Night Blue/Corazón Red. Worn by Mexican born actor Uriel del Toro and lensed by Mau Sierra. Bienvenido.

SÉBASTIAN TELLIER and CDLP are an apropos marriage. While both hold an individualistic style, "Home" coincidentally follows Mr. Tellier’s 2020 "Domesticated"-record—the title of which was suggested by friend and director Sofia Coppola to describe his new status as a father assigned to domestic tasks instead of owning stages around the globe. Shot in a characteristic Parisian "maison" by photographer Jonas Unger, the campaign puts the capsule to test as it captures Mr. Tellier making breakfast, playing the piano, barbecuing and taking his car for errands.

The luxurious silk-like softness and superior comfort of our underwear is spelled Lyocell. Lyocell is an extremely breathable cellulose fabric; naturally anti-bacterial, wicks moisture away from the body, while maintaining both its shape and color, wash after wash. Material Culture—an izikhothane dance collective from Johannesburg—explores the benefits of the Lyocell fabric in this video directed by Christian Larson.

The Danish self-taught photographer, represented by Bad Land, shot Daniel Hopwood from Manchester agency Brother at Grand Hotel Copenhagen. The campaign launches the spring 2019 season featuring styles from the CDLP collection, and coincides with Illum, Copenhagen launching the brand in-store.
